If choosing a holiday to book your wedding, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s, etc., additional fees may apply. Please call for more information.
For 2017, the $50.00 sitting fee for professional photography for bridal portraits on the grounds is waived. Professional photography is permitted in the Manor House on the day of the wedding as it relates to the bride’s preparation.
Professional photography on the Manor House porches, decks, and staircases is permitted as well as professional photography in the interior front and back courtyards. For further information and parameters, visit our Photography and Scouting page.
TABLES & CHAIRS
Poplar Grove has reception tables and chairs for 150 guests. The set-up fee for inside the barn is $250.00. This fee can be waived if the client would prefer to set up the tables and chairs themselves. Outside set-up for tables and chairs is arranged solely by the client.
NOTE: Poplar Grove has 100 white chairs for wedding ceremonies, of which the set-up and break down is courtesy of Poplar Grove staff.
TENT FEE (Weddings & Corporate Events)
Tent rentals, set-up and breakdown are not arranged by Poplar Grove but by the client through an outside vendor. Additional tables and chairs may be required and is negotiated with the chosen outside vendor. The non-refundable fee covers the wear and tear of the grounds because of expanded use, including truck entry and exit, removable dance floors, additional tables and chairs, musicians, staging, catering stations, buffets tables, bar stations, etc.

EXPANDED GROUNDS’ USE FEE
Larger wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as larger corporate events may wish to expand the location of their venue to include the Agricultural Building, staging around the tenant house, or having a cocktail hour in the back courtyard of the Manor House. Please call in advance for using other areas of the grounds for your event, in addition to the Manor House bridal suite, gazebo, barn, and designated tent area. Pricing will be determined by the scope of the layout and design and dependent upon daily operating hours for tours and other previously scheduled evening programs.
